Sarah Breese is a Comedy Writer and Performer.
After many years in denial, she finally gave in to comedy in 2011, making short films for The Oxford Revue, and started stand up in 2015.
Thanks to her alter ego as a grown-up in Media, she's developing some very silly projects for TV and Radio, and is always looking for something new and stupid to do: if you think this might come in handy, please get in touch.
"Who's that fucking kid? Oh, it’s Sarah.” (Kiri Pritchard-McClean)
Sarah Breese is a mischievous ball of comedy nonsense. Since joining the circuit in 2015, Breese has been making waves on the Welsh standup scene and beyond. Funny, excitable and engaging, her comedy is a combination of sharp observations, skewed logic, and boundless enthusiasm.
Breese has performed at numerous gigs throughout the UK and Europe, including the Edinburgh Fringe, Mach Comedy Festival, was co-host of Comedy Carousel (at Cardiff Glee), a regular contributor to Mark Olver's "The Gathering" (also Cardiff Glee), and has MCd her own nights (Odd Night Out) and for others (including Kill For A Seat, Off the Kerb, and at the Edinburgh Fringe). A finalist of the Welsh Unsigned Standup Award 2016, she has TV credits on S4C’s Gwerthu Allan, Made in Cardiff’s Stand Up series, was a co-presenter for BBC Radio Cymru Mwy, has writing credits on Radio 4 Extra's Newsjack, BBC Wales' The Leak, and has appeared & written on numerous shows for S4C (Heno, Prynhawn Da) and Radio Wales (Jamie Owen on Sundays). In 2017 she Produced Elis James' latest hour-long comedy special for S4C (Phil McIntyre Entertainment).
